Yesterday morning I woke up, got in my beloved Polo from Statoil, bought sausages, picked up Marina and Franziska from their house and headed to Ystad. Lovely weather, why not?

We rambled through the city’s tight streets, between all those small, old and colourful houses.

We even found our way to Turistbyrån, filled our bags with brochures and maps. That wasn’t enough tho. The girls decided to check out H&M’s store in town. I ended up putting those ugly, red glasses on my nose. Just imagine how bored I must have been…

Just kidding, it was fun. But we had to find a nice place for barbecue. We stopped here and there on the way to “Ales Stenar”, an amazing monument in Southern Sweden, that people refer to as the “Swedish Stonehenge”.

It was freezing cold. The wind didn’t intend to stop. Neither did we. Back in the car, seat belts buckled up. Next stop was Backåkra Naturreservat. An incredibly peaceful and beautiful place. We saw Hammarskjöld’s farm, went down the hill to the meditation ring.

Then we stopped at this awesome beach. The sand was almost white! So was my face. We all were getting hungry. Again in the car, heading to Simrishamn to collect more maps, beer and potatis.

And then – sunset. Of course. And barbecue. At the harbour.

During this trip no animals were hurt. No animals were stroken either. However, one rabbit with sparkling eyes was spotted near the road on the way back.
Amazing photographes Ivan!! I love sunsets. Makes me want to visit Ystad and experience it too!
It’s truly amazing, you should. I am going there again in the summer. With the bike.
Take me with you, lol
Jovisst! :-P

Det är för tidigt! Vad tycker du om i sommar? :P

Thats swenglish! Literate translatation, but surprisingly the expression does not exist in swedish. We would use, I look forward to it to translate it! :P
Well, it’s a good start :-)
